Sensory acuity

The trained ability to notice small, repeatable changes in another person's physiology and behavior.

Sensory acuity is the perceptual base of calibration. It is developed by deliberately watching skin tone, breathing, eye movement, voice tempo, and micro-expressions until small shifts become obvious. High acuity is what separates working trainers from people who have read the books.
