VAK

The three-channel model of sensory processing: visual, auditory, kinesthetic.

VAK is shorthand for the three modalities NLP works with most. Most people have a preferred channel that shows up in their language, learning, and recall. Working in a client's preferred VAK channel accelerates rapport and intervention. Some models add olfactory (O) and gustatory (G) for VAKOG.
