Strategy

A specific internal sequence of representations a person runs to produce a behavior or decision.

A strategy is a recipe. NLP elicits strategies by asking 'how, specifically, do you do X?' and tracking the internal sequence: visual image -> internal voice -> kinesthetic check -> decision. Once mapped, a strategy can be installed in someone else (modeling) or modified to produce a different outcome.
