Feedback (vs failure)

The NLP reframe: outcomes that miss are not failures but information about what to adjust.

Feedback-not-failure is one of the most-quoted NLP presuppositions. It is a posture, not a denial: outcomes still matter, but the response to missing them is to extract specific information about what to change, rather than to conclude 'I can't'. Practically, this presupposition turns every missed outcome into a TOTE adjustment.
