Presupposition

A working assumption that NLP practitioners adopt as if true because doing so produces better outcomes.

NLP has 15 named presuppositions including 'the map is not the territory', 'there is no failure, only feedback', 'every behavior has a positive intention', and 'the meaning of communication is the response you get'. They are postures, not proofs.
