Collapse anchor
Firing two opposing anchors simultaneously so the unwanted state is neutralized by the resourceful one.
A collapse anchor extinguishes a problem state. The trainer sets a strong positive anchor and a moderate negative anchor, then fires them at the same time. The nervous system cannot fully hold both states; the negative collapses into the positive, leaving a neutral or resourceful response where there used to be reactivity. Common application: dissolving a fear response by collapsing it into a state of calm competence.
