Content reframe

Changing the meaning of a situation while leaving the situation itself unchanged.

A content reframe asks 'what else could this mean?' The facts of the situation stay the same; only the assigned meaning changes. Example: 'he's not stubborn, he's principled.' Content reframes work fast when the new meaning is generated by the client rather than imposed by the coach.
