How do I set up my practitioner profile?
4 min read
Your profile is your storefront. Here's how to make it complete, honest, and discoverable.
1. Fill in your display name and photo
Use your full name as clients will see it. Add a recent photo — clients trust profiles with faces. If you don't have a photo yet, use the initials avatar for now and update it within your first week.
2. Add your credentials
List the certifications that matter to clients: your NLP training organization, year, and level (Practitioner, Master, Trainer). Don't inflate — clients will ask to verify and inflated claims damage trust.
3. Choose your specialties
Select up to 8 techniques you regularly work with. Clients search by goal and technique. If you list something as a specialty, be prepared to demonstrate it in your first session.
4. Set your pricing and availability
Set a price range (currency + amount + session duration). Add your availability slots in the calendar section. Be conservative — it's better to show availability you actually have than to overbook.
5. Write your bio
Two paragraphs: what you do and who you do it for. Include your approach, your background, and one concrete outcome you've helped clients achieve. Avoid NLP jargon — write to a client who has heard of NLP but isn't a practitioner.
6. Publish
Toggle your profile to published. Once our clinical board reviews it (usually 24-48 hours), you'll get a verified badge. Your profile then appears in search results and on technique pages.
