Marcus's clinic in Hackney, London — March 2026.

I n August 2025, Marcus Webb almost quit. After eleven years as a Master Practitioner — running a small clinic in Hackney, London — he was working 67 hours a week and earning what a junior consultant earned working 35. His clinic had a waitlist of 4 people. His Notion had 60-something tabs. His sleep tracker showed an average of 5h12m.

"I was good at the work," he says, "but I was being eaten by everything around the work."

"I was being eaten by everything around the work."
— Marcus Webb, Aug 2025

He'd tried platforms before. Mindbody felt like a gym booking system. SimplePractice was built for therapists with very different workflows. Three custom Notion setups — designed by Marcus and abandoned by Marcus — sat half-finished in his archive.

"What I wanted was something that understood the shape of NLP. Not just 'schedule a session.' Something that knew the difference between an intake and a follow-up. Something that knew what a kinesthetic anchor was."

The first thirty days.

Marcus signed up on October 3rd, 2025, on a Sunday afternoon. By Tuesday he had imported his existing 23 clients via CSV. By Friday he had run his first AI-assisted intake.

"The AI question composer was the first thing that surprised me. It drafted nine intake questions tailored to a new client's stated goal — career-change anxiety — and seven of them were questions I would have asked. The other two were better than mine."

What actually changed.

By month three, Marcus's calendar was structurally different. Mornings were sessions only — back-to-back, three or four, no admin. Afternoons were one of two things: deep client work (case prep, plan drafts) or what he calls "the studio block" — recording the Anchoring meditation audio that 60% of his clients now use between sessions.

"The studio block came from a question Reframe asked me," he says. "It pointed out that my retention drop-off was happening between sessions 3 and 4, not after the first one as I'd assumed. So I asked: what's missing in the gap?"

The answer was the Companion app — and the audio. Once installed, retention from session 3 to 4 climbed from 41% to 78% in eight weeks.

What's next.

Marcus is now hiring his first associate practitioner. He's planning to take six weeks off this summer to write the book on Anchoring he's been carrying around in his head for nine years.

"I'm not sure I'd be in the field at all without Reframe," he says. "And I mean that literally."
